We are looking for dedicated writers, who would like to contribute their thought-provoking articles on current affairs – either on a one-time-only or on a continuous basis.
We are a non-governmental and non-profit association based in Vienna and falling under the jurisdiction of Austrian Federal Law. All our existing writers are working remotely on a part-time basis.
Being a non-profit NGO, we wouldn’t be able to provide compensation at market rate but as an appreciation of your research efforts, we can provide up to a maximum of Euro 200 per article when it is published on our website.
The articles can be mailed to info@voicesagainstautocracy.org. Please also provide a brief introduction of yourself along with your contact details so that we can get in touch with you for further communication.
The topics for the articles would include the latest developments involving China, Tibet, Uyghurs, North Korea etc. Articles can be brief analysis (1500-2000 words) or in-depth analysis (3500-4000 words) of topics of international relevance. The language to be used is English.
For reasons of accountability and transparency, whenever other sources are used, please make sure to state your sources throughout your article and provide a list of sources used at the end of your text. If a photo is used, please ensure that the same is devoid of any copyright issues.
